Weekly Digest 1/8

Hey there!

I hope you are having a great first full week of January! If you spend any time on LinkedIn (and you should), you have probably already noticed a renewed energy. Companies are hiring, folks are mentoring, and now is the time to put yourself out there if you've been waiting for the "right" time. It is also the right time to revisit skills that may have faded over the holidays. Almost every interview process involves some sort of skills assessment so don't wait to review until it is too late.

Book a Coaching Session

Now is the perfect time to kick things into gear by booking a coaching session with Taryn Asbury. Use her direct booking link (or the calendars embedded in the Resource Hub) to book a session in the next couple of weeks. Taryn can do everything from reviewing materials to helping you strategize your job search to keeping you motivated! She's awesome! No matter how you want to use this experience, Taryn can help you achieve your goals.

Learner Success Outreach Reminder

The Learner Success team is here to support you throughout your learner journey and beyond and there are a number of ways to contact us. This is likely old news to many of you but we wanted to share a reminder and exciting announcement here:

  1. Learner Success Email Address: learnersupport@uprighted.com This email is shared and monitored by the entire LS team.
  2. Learner Support Request Form: Linked here
  3. (Drumroll, please!) Learner Support Chatbot: The Learner Support chatbot is now integrated into the Resource Hub! When you access that webpage, you will see a chat bubble icon in the bottom right corner. This chat is monitored by the LS team during business hours, and we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

Reynolds & Reynolds Referral Reminder

A few weeks ago, we hosted Brent Brown, a graduate of our software development program and I wanted to remind everyone that Brent has generously offered to refer Upright Education graduates (and almost graduates) into roles at Reynolds & Reynolds. If you are interested in receiving a referral, here is what you should do:
1. Review the event recording. PW: Dr4cV..A

2. Review all openings on the Reynolds and Reynolds job board.

3. Complete the Referral Interest Form

If you are interested in being referred to a specific job, do NOT apply for the job on the company job board until you have heard back from Brent. Please also note that you must be local to or willing to relocate to the location listed on the job posting.

If you have any questions, please let me (apaschall@uprighted.com) know!
