Your instructional team is here to guide you to success!
If you're feeling overwhelmed or falling behind on your course material, don’t worry—it's okay to ask for help. Your instructional team is here to support you every step of the way, and there are several ways to catch up and stay on track.
Here’s What You Can Do:
-
Reach Out to Your Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Your TAs are available to assist you with any questions or challenges you’re facing. You can message them directly in Discord to ask for help or clarification.
-
Ask Your Instructor During Live Sessions:
- If something in the material isn’t clicking, don’t hesitate to ask your instructor during a live class session. When there is time for questions, we encourage you to speak up—chances are, someone else may have a similar question. Your instructors are there to support your learning and will appreciate your engagement.
-
Attend Office Hours:
- Each week, your TA will host office hours —a dedicated time where you can ask questions, review any program material, or get personalized guidance. The dates and times for these sessions are posted in your cohort’s Discord channel, so be sure to check in regularly.
-
Review Past Recordings:
- All live sessions are recorded and accessible in your cohort’s learner document. Re-watching past sessions can be a helpful way to review concepts you may have missed or didn’t fully grasp the first time.
-
Seek Additional Resources:
- Your instructional staff may also share helpful links, guides, or tutorials in the Resources tab of your learner document. These materials can provide extra context and practice for challenging topics.
Remember: It’s completely normal to struggle at times, and asking for help shows that you’re committed to your learning. Don’t hesitate to use these resources and reach out to your support network. We’re here to help you succeed!
