Where Can I Find The Software Requirements?
If you're looking for the software and equipment requirements for your program, we've got you covered! The complete list of equipment and software you’ll need is located on page 9 of your enrollment agreement. However, here's a quick reference!
Required Equipment
To participate in your program, you will need access to a modern laptop or desktop computer that can run either Apple macOS or Microsoft Windows. Below is a more detailed list of hardware specifications:
- Operating System: Current versions of macOS or Windows 10/11
- Processor: Intel, AMD, or Apple M1 processor capable of 64-bit computation
- RAM: At least 4GB of random access memory (RAM)
- Hard Drive: Minimum 128 GB of storage
- Other Requirements: Webcam, microphone, and internet connectivity
Having the right hardware ensures that you will have access to the tools and programs essential to your learning experience. Please note that if you’re not using the required hardware or software, technical support may be limited.
Internet Connectivity Requirements
You will need a stable broadband internet connection to support online learning, video communication, and working with cloud-based applications. The minimum recommended speeds are:
- Download speed: 30 Mbps
- Upload speed: 3 Mbps
- Latency: Less than 50ms
A strong, reliable internet connection ensures smooth participation in live sessions and interactions with classmates and instructors.
Not Supported: Chromebooks and Chrome OS
Unfortunately, Chromebooks and Chrome OS are not supported for use in our programs. This is due to incompatibility with many of the software tools required.
Required Software
Regardless of your specific program, there are some baseline software requirements that you’ll need to install on your computer. These include:
