To successfully participate in your bootcamp, it’s important that you have the right equipment. Below are the essential hardware requirements, as well as some recommendations for creating an ideal workspace.

Required Hardware:

  1. Computer:

    • Modern Laptop or Desktop (Newer than 2015)
      • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i3+, AMD Ryzen 5+, or Apple M1+
      • Memory (RAM): 8 GB or more
      • Storage: 256 GB or more
  2. Operating System:

    • Windows 10+ or macOS 11 (Big Sur)+
    • Unsupported Systems: Chromebooks, Tablets, Smartphones, ChromeOS, Linux, or other open-source operating systems are not supported and cannot receive technical support.
  3. Internet Connection:

    • Minimum Speed: 5 Mbps upload / 55 Mbps download
  4. Web Camera:

    • A working webcam is required for all program sessions. If using a desktop, you will need to purchase one separately.

Recommended Accessories:

  1. External Monitor: Having a second monitor can significantly improve your workflow, especially for coding or design tasks.
  2. Mouse & Keyboard: A wired or wireless mouse and keyboard can help with ergonomics and ease of use.
  3. Headset with Microphone: Improves the audio quality during live sessions, ensuring clear communication with instructors and peers.

Work Environment:

To ensure you stay productive, we recommend setting up a dedicated workspace that’s free from distractions. Make sure you have:

  • A comfortable desk and chair
  • Adequate lighting
  • A quiet environment for attending live sessions and focusing on your assignments

Unsupported Devices:

Please note that the following devices are not supported:

  • Chromebooks
  • Tablets or Smartphones
  • Any operating systems other than Windows 10+ or macOS 11+.

If you use any unsupported devices, you may experience difficulties completing assignments or receiving technical support.

By ensuring that you meet these hardware requirements and setting up an organized workspace, you'll be fully equipped to succeed in your bootcamp!
