As part of your learning experience at Upright Education, we want to make sure you have a clear understanding of how refunds work and what to expect if you need one. Below are answers to the most common questions about refund eligibility, timelines, and support.

What Determines Refund Eligibility?

To know if you are eligible for a refund, please refer to the Enrollment Agreement you signed before starting your course.

Your Enrollment Agreement outlines:

  • Eligibility requirements
  • Withdrawal or cancellation deadlines
  • Financial responsibilities
  • Any exclusions or limitations

How Do I Request a Refund?

To request a refund after withdrawing from a course:

  1. Contact the Learner Success Team with your request.

  2. We will verify your eligibility based on your Enrollment Agreement.

  3. Your request will be forwarded to our Finance Team for processing.

  4. We will follow up if additional information is needed.

Our goal is to make this process straightforward and supportive.


How Long Does a Refund Take?

Refunds typically go through two stages:

1. Upright Education Processing

After your request is forwarded to our Finance Team, processing usually takes 5–7 business days.

2. Bank or Payment Provider Processing

Once approved and released, your bank may take another 5–7 business days to deposit the funds. Processing times can vary based on your financial institution.

You’ll receive a notification once your refund has been approved and released.
